Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity and Spike Jonze's Her were awarded best films of 2013 by Los Angeles Film Critics Association. The award for best actress goes to Cate Blanchett for her role in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine and Adele Exarchopoulos for her role in Adele: Chapters 1 and 2 by Abdellatif Kechiche, which also won the best foreign film. The award for best supporting actor goes to Jared Leto who plays an HIV-positive transsexual in Dallas Buyers Club and James Franco for his crazy gangster role in Spring Breakers.
