Filming for the next film in the Star Wars franchise will begin in May 2014, in London, filmmaker JJ Abrams confirming that he's completed the script in collaboration with Lawrence Kasdan. "We're working really hard and we've got our script and we're in deep prep. Full steam ahead." said JJ Abrams for Entertainment Weekly. Abrams became famous after he directed the last two movies from another successful science fiction franchise, Star Trek. American director has not entered any details about the plot nor the characters. However, he has confirmed the meeting with Breaking Bad‘s Jesse Plemons, which could get a role in the upcoming movie. It seems that Jesse Plemons would compete for Luke Skywalker's son because of his physical resemblance to actor Mark Hamill. Meanwhile, fans of Star Wars are glad to know the characters Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) will have bigger roles in this film than originally thought. The seventh film in the Star Wars franchise will be released in theaters on December 18, 2015.
