Three months before launch, the first official trailer for the movie I, Frankenstein is out. For the role in the production directed by Stuart Beattie, Aaron Eckhart, also known for his role as Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight, suffered a dramatic transformation for his portrayal of Adam Frankenstein, as his body is now full of muscles. The trailer reveals a monster as never seen before in the film industry, full of muscles, neat, agile and very attentive to his image, which is quite unusual for a creature that wants to look 200 years old. Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. I, Frankenstein is written by screenwriter of Underworld series and is based on the graphic novel "I, Frankenstein" by Kevin Grevioux. The cast also includes Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young, in the role of Victor Frankenstein. The monster played by Aaron Eckhart is quite different from other film versions, the most famous being the one of Boris Karloff in 1941, which became iconic. In this version, Adam, Frankenstein's monster, is not a hideous and repugnant creature, but more like a superman. The movie will be released in the U.S. on January 24, 2014.
